This reprinted edition of the popular textbook by John Lamarsh – a pioneer in nuclear reactor theory education – still serves as an excellent introduction to nuclear reactor theory. The book aims to provide students with an understanding of the fundamental physical principles underlying the operation of a nuclear reactor.
